ZT Apps built the Vu Smart Study app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by ZT Apps at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection and Use
We do not collect any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or device ID.
Anonymous Account
When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account using Firebase Authentication. This account is identified by a random, unique identifier generated by Firebase. No device identifiers (e.g., Android ID) are collected or stored by us.
User-Generated Content
You may choose to bookmark handouts or save papers within the app. This information is stored securely in our Firebase Realtime Database and is associated only with your anonymous account. This allows us to provide you with a personalized experience across sessions.
Usage and Crash Data
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. This helps us improve the app. The data collected may include:
- Device model, operating system version
- App version, time and date of use
- Crash logs and performance data
This information is aggregated and anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect information used to identify you (as required by their own privacy policies):

Data Deletion
You have the right to delete all your data associated with the app at any time.
To delete your data:
- Open the Vu Smart Study app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap "Delete My Data".
- Confirm the deletion.
This will immediately:
- Remove your anonymous account and all associated bookmarks/saved papers from our Firebase database.
- Sign you out and reset the app to its initial state.
If you encounter any issues, you can also request deletion by emailing ztapps.help@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Data". We will process your request within 30 days.
Log Data
In case of an error, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. This information is used solely for debugging and improving the Service.
Cookies
This Service does not use cookies explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use cookies to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies. If you choose to refuse cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
Security
We strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your information. All data stored in Firebase is encrypted in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Children’s Privacy
This Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If such data is discovered, it is immediately deleted.
